Members enjoyed hearing Rev Irene Lyttle speak about her Journey to Ministry which was illustrated
by powerpoint. She spoke of some of the issues she had to deal with on that journey and also some of the lighter moments. Some members had been busy and brought a good number of teddies which will be passed
on to the emergency services. Items for the toilet bags can be left in each church. We do not supply soap now as the hospitals use alcohol pumps to help combat infections. To enable the committee to update records of length of membership for members, we are asking everyone to bring their membership cards to the next meeting. We are looking forward to our next meeting on Tuesday 10th November which is our members evening when Carol Lynch and Olive Parke will demonstrate their craft skills. Please note there will also be a Bring and Buy Sale on that evening for MU funds, so any surplus items you may have will be welcome.
